Oh my buddha!! It was sooooooo much fun. Our speaker was Ergun Canner(not spelled right but that's how it sounds). He grew up as a muslim in Turkey! Became a christian at about 18. Has 3 masters and 2 PHD's. Was a pastor at about 30. Met his wife(who is not just southeren...she is COUNTRY) and has two half-breed kids. his words not mine. he is so hilarious but hits the nail on the head every time. oh, and the "oh my buddha" in the beginning is because that is what he says. he told us he says that because he got to thinking one day about how much people use God's name in vain. so he decided to start using their gods names like that. he says oh my buddha, oh my allah, oh my ghandi, etc. he is now president at Liberty University. preachs to about 6,000 college kids. he also debates. he debates homosexuals, muslims, buddists, etc. he said a lot of religions that he debates that i didn't even know existed. his debates are in itunes and i am so going to get some. i escpecially want to hear him debate muslims since he used to be one and has first hand experience about that religion. i loved camp but i am so glad to be home. to use my own bed and shower.
we also had todd agnew(probably not spelled right but whateve). he is AWESOME!!! and he has a crazy awesome violionist. the whole band is awesome but those two are the ones you remember the most.
another cool thing is we got to get closer to God, our new youth pastor, and the other youth.
anywayz, it is late. i'm tired. i want my bed.
Goodnight!!!!!
